Eye Candy Sunday (On Monday)

I might as well just keep calling it the Eye Candy on Monday because, frankly, I keep forgetting to update it on a Sunday. Yesterday, I went and saw the movie "The Hangover" (which is probably the best film I've ever seen to date) so when I got home it was late in the evening and all thoughts of blogging went out the window.
Anyway.
This weeks Eye Candy is British born actor Alex Pettyfer. Sure, OK the dudes only been in 4 things, 5 if you include his new film "Beastly" but the guy defines the rather chavy word "Phit". He's gorgeous, and can even pull off the skinhead look. Being the bookworm that I am I read all of Anthony Horowitz's "Alex Rider" books so I was more than excited when the first in the series "Stormbreaker" was to be made into a movie. I was even more excited when I saw who was playing him. Since Stormbreaker (which was back in 2006), Alex has gone on to star in films such as "Wild Child" as Freddie and starred alongside Emma Roberts. Recently, he was in the film "Tormented" as Bradley which is based on a kid who dies but then comes back and haunts his bullies. Being certified an 18 I couldnt bend the rules and watch it at the cinema, however I managed to watch it online and had to admit it wasnt great. Luckily though Alex's acting seems to be getting better with age which was probably why he got cast as the lead in next years film "Beastly" which co stars Vanessa Hudgens and Mary Kate Olsen. I would say he was moving up in the world but with co stars like that its difficult to say - there probably the worst 2 people to pull of the characters. I've read the book by Alex Finn of which it is based on and, frankly, Hudgens and Olsen better be damn good because I dont want this to fail.
That said the dude has a pretty buff bod and devilish handsome good looks. For his sake I hope Beastly does well as many of his films havent been much of a success, because the world needs some new eye candy...
