"The Hangover"

Yesterday, actually, on Sunday I went and (finally) saw "The Hangover" with my boyfriend Ben. I had high hopes for the film, the trailer looked hilarious and from all the feedback it was getting on all those "aint it cool" websites like IMDb, it looked as if the film could do no wrong. So I was pleasantly surprised to see that it actually lived up to its expections. Usually, a film is so played up that it can only dissappoint. Like for example Slumgdog Millionaire, I mean it was good dont get me wrong, it just wasnt as good as everyone made it out to be. But The Hangover completely gave "comedy" a new name.
I have never laughed as much in the cinema than I did on Sunday. The Hangover is hysterical, totally hysterical. I thought, going in, maybe all the good jokes had been put in trailer, however I couldnt have been more wrong.
So at the beginning it was pretty OK, the first fifteen minutes I was waiting for something ridiculously hilarious to happen and then it did. I dont think I've ever laughed so hard at the sight of a guy cutting his hand with a knife before, it was over the top and plain wrong that it had to be funny.
Bradley Cooper who played Phil was, by far, the best actor. However it was Zach Galifianakis who played Alan that had the most laughs. The guy is freakin fantastic! And how he said the word retard had tears pouring down my face.
There's no doubt about, "The Hangover" is the best comedy to date and cant seem to do no wrong. Even Ken Jeongs completely over the top character had me rolling about.
I recommend "The Hangover" to everyone, you'll love it, you can't not...
